Indiana Eggs and Poultry
Quality, Safety, and Your Family

"Whether these family-owned farms are large or small scale operations, food safety and animal care are top priorities of our farmers. They care about the quality and safety of the products that feed their own families, their local communities, and communities across the country. Our eggs and poultry products are safe, economical, and wholesome sources of protein."

Remember that for poultry check-in at the Indiana State Fair, you will need to demonstrate that your bird(s) are in good health in one of the following ways:

  • Had a negative Pullorum-Typhoid test within ninety (90) days prior to exhibition. In conjunction with this test, you will need to present a copy of the Indiana Poultry EXHIBITOR FORM signed by your Certified NPIP Blood Tester.
  • OR

  • 9-2 Document proving that your bird originated directly from a National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) Pullorum-Typhoid certified clean flock within one year of exhibition.
Not sure what these documents look like? Use this handy sheet to make sure you have one or the other!
